I am more and more commenting very strongly on Islam, and emphasizing the idea that we are involved globally in an Islamic war, so let me add a few words here, for I am sure that some people will be concerned that I am so prejudiced against the "Religion of Peace" (TM) called the Way of Submission (Islam, translated to English) and will try and tell me that I am evil for attacking it. More and more, I see Islam in the same light as I have learned to see coercive government, socialism, and many other facts and philosophies of humanity. Islam is not alone in these aspects but it has several key problems that cause me to oppose it as fervently as I oppose the stupidity of government, the insanity of communism, the foolishness of environism, and the bloodiness of abortionists:
1. It is anti-human/anti-life: Islam has demonstrated, in nearly 1400 years, that its tenets and adherent have as little regard for human life as worshippers of Moloch (who sacrificed infants on the red-hot arms of idols), Aztecs (who carved the living hearts out of the chests of their human sacrifices on the tops of temple pyramids), or abortionists, who suck living children out of women's wombs.
2. It is anti-liberty and anti-freedom: it is the ultimate merger of "church" and state; it promotes a world order in which God is represented by a supreme ruler who controls every aspect of life: ultimately a religous totalitarism that functioned in Arabic and Islamic society from Mohammed (pbuh) through the caliphs right down to the fall of the Shah and the creation of the Islamic Republic of Iran; a totalitarism made worse by the hypocrisy of the vast majority of those "supreme rulers." Its state control is totally opposed to the free market. It is no coincidence that virtually all widespread problems of slavery as exist in the world today (except for the "indirect" slavery of taxation and the problem of conscription) is intimately tied to Islam and Islamic societies and countries.
3. It is, of course, anti-Christian. Just as the Baal-worship of Old Testament Canaan was a perversion of the worship of Jehovah God, Islam is a perversion today that deserves as much success as the worship of Baal did 3000 years ago. Both the Way of Christ ("christianity") and Islam cannot be right; and if the Way is right, Islam is wrong and evil.
4. It is anti-American. The perfect Islamic society is totally the opposite of virtually every aspect of American life: not just the idea of the dignity of man, the ideals of liberty and freedom, the value and worth of the free market, and the Biblical basis of American society (however imperfect and corrupted that might be), but also other key aspects of American society and culture: tolerance, diversity, privacy, local communities, volunteerism, and much else. I do not know why people who claim to be supportive of such things as homosexuality and "equal rights" for homosexuals, feminism, secularism, and other points of view (which I do not agree with but will nevertheless defend their right to speak and practice - provided they do not take away my freedoms to do so) can also claim that Islam is no threat to America - or only a threat to the extent that American evils such as neoCon imperialism and support of Zionism have made us a threat to them. American ideals and society have ALWAYS been a threat to Islamic and the "Ummah," starting with the American revolution and the nascent American Union and republic: we refused to accept the accomodation made with Islamic slavers and pirates and pay tribute to operate as we had the liberty to do, as God-made men and women. It was not our Army or our Marines or our Navy that was a threat to the Islamic satraps of North Africa and the Mediterranean and Indian Ocean and China Sea in 1802 or 1902 - it was American merchants and missionaries and the ideal that God created all mankind equal in His eyes, and that all mankind is entitled to life, liberty, and property.
May God save these United States of America!
